Selected platforms and open-source repositories — product work, tooling, experiments, and personal builds.
- Aletyx platform & AI gateway (Product, 2025): Multi-cloud B2B SaaS with AI gateway, hardened containers, and a customer portal for tickets, artifacts, and release communications.
- Lyx for VS Code (Developer tools, 2026): I created and maintain this VS Code extension for the Aletyx engineering team. It brings the whole delivery flow into the editor: PRs and review metrics against a 4-hour SLA, each change tracked from PR to production, deploys and releases across GKE, ECS, and Cloudflare, Jenkins jobs, and an AI assistant that proposes actions you confirm.
- Apache KIE (Open Source, 2024): Open-source business automation community (KIE). Contributor and committer work alongside IBM Business Automation Manager Open Editions leadership.
- Jenkins Live Wall (CI / DevOps, 2026): I created and maintain this official Jenkins plugin under the jenkinsci organization. It turns jobs into a wall of big coloured tiles for real-time pipeline monitoring — built for the television in the corner of the office, so teams get instant visibility from across the room.
- Jenkins Concierge (AI / Agents, 2026): A Jenkins plugin I wrote and submitted to the Jenkins project: onboarding tours and an AI assistant that know your instance. Everything is computed from each person's own permissions, logs are stripped of secrets before they reach the model, and the assistant only proposes builds; nothing runs until you confirm.
- Fedora Copr packages (Open Source, 2024): Maintains Fedora-related builds via Copr — including cloud-init, OpenStack tooling, and related packages — continuing a long open-source packaging practice from Red Hat years.
- Red Hat Insights / Hybrid Cloud Console QE (Platform, 2021): Years of Principal-level engineering on Insights SaaS quality: Kafka-backed microservices, CDN, automation frameworks, and CI/CD for console.redhat.com.
- AI Alpha Squad (AI / Agents, 2026): Autonomous multi-agent software delivery squad: open a GitHub Issue and specialized agents analyze, design, code, test, review, and open a PR — with a human Director approving key milestones.
- getalight.me (Product, 2026): Free, ad-free screen lighting for video calls and recordings — open a spare monitor, tune brightness and Kelvin color temperature, then go fullscreen. Ships as a Cloudflare Workers web app plus a Chrome MV3 extension for preferred-monitor placement.
- AI Sandbox (AI / Agents, 2026): Personal monorepo of small, runnable AI experiments — agents, RAG, Hugging Face, LangChain, CrewAI, and MCP — each app self-contained and easy to tear down.
- nix-devshells (Developer tools, 2026): Reproducible Nix flake-based dev shells for macOS and Linux — general, latest, AI/ML, and DevOps profiles that coexist with other Nix setups.
- Pi VPN Gateway (Hardware / Networking, 2026): Turn a Raspberry Pi into a secure Wi-Fi VPN gateway using WireGuard — TVs join a dedicated AP while all traffic routes through NordVPN and the home network stays untouched.
- image-scale (Developer tools, 2025): Batch Python script to scale PNG/JPG images for the web by percentage or max width/height while keeping aspect ratio and optimizing quality.
- wd-plugin-content-loader (Web, 2024): WordPress plugin for multi-language content loading — stores language-specific HTML in a custom table and swaps page content from a language dropdown.
- s3-pull-processor (Cloud / CI, 2022): POC for uploading pipeline artifacts to S3/SQS and consuming them with a scalable, containerized processor ready for Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- linknotfound (Developer tools, 2022): POC client/server tool that scans application source for broken links, reports to S3, and presents findings in a web UI.
- jenkins-elasticsearch (CI / DevOps, 2021): Docker Compose stack wiring Jenkins build data into Elasticsearch, ElasticHQ, and Grafana for CI observability demos.
- elf-bot (Bots, 2021): Slack bot that connects engineers to JIRA, OpenStack, and OpenShift for everyday tasks — with a bit of workplace humor.
- schedulevac (Automation, 2021): Selenium-based helper that finds available spots when scheduling a service — automates the “is there an opening?” check.
- slackapp (Bots, 2021): Getting-started Slack app on the Bolt framework — slash commands and interactive messages for VM provision/list/delete experiments.
- Janitor (Cloud / CI, 2017): Linux CLI for OpenStack tenant quota hygiene — whitelist-driven cleanup of leftover VMs, networks, and volumes so CI tenants stay healthy.
- pkgpoc (Packaging, 2017): Study project for Fedora RPM packaging with Tito, Mock, Copr, Sphinx man pages, and a Makefile-driven release flow.
- cd2cloud (Personal, 2017): Linux tool that watches for audio CDs, rips tracks with abcde, and moves digital files to a private home cloud — built to digitize a large CD collection.
- stockAPI (Personal, 2018): Study project consuming free stock market APIs (IEX, Alpha Vantage) for learning — not for production trading.
- cloudbitsgo (Cloud / CI, 2016): Linux migration helper that copies files from source to destination, verifies the copy, then replaces the original with a symlink — used for live AWS EBS → EFS moves.
- mypublicip (Networking, 2016): Notifies you when your ISP renews your public IP — useful for home servers, SSH tunnels, and proxies without a static address.
- demo (Packaging, 2016): Study project for GitHub and Fedora packaging workflows — argparse script, Makefile, Sphinx docs, and Copr RPM builds.
- Sing and Dance (Personal, 2015): Simple Android app for kids up to age three — tap a character to play its full theme song. Built so a toddler could sing and dance without a half-length toy microphone.
